Recently Completed Commissions

JEN-TEN written in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Jazz Education Network. Premiered at the keynote session of the 2019 international JEN Conference by the JEN All Star Big Band with Yasinitsky conducting. Soloists included Bob Sinicrope, bass; Roxy Coss, tenor saxophone; Francisco Torres, trombone; Sean Jones, trumpet; and Bob Breithaupt, drums. Band members included Jeff CoffinClaire Daly and Liesl Whitaker. My Man Dave for the University of New Hampshire Jazz Band in honor of Professor Emeritus David Seiler. Premiered October 16, 2019 at the University of New Hampshire.

 

Heartfelt and Diabolical for alto saxophone and piano for Vanessa Sielert, Director of the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho. Premiered at the 2018 WSU Festival of Contemporary Art Music. Also performed at the conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance. Listen here.
