Greg was commissioned to compose a new Christmas tune, "It's Santa!," for big band and vocal jazz ensemble by Brigham Young University Idaho for their holiday concert. "It's Santa!" was also recorded by Greg Yasinitsky's YAZZ Band in two versions: the first with vocalist Horace Alexander Young and the second with the JECCA Vocal Jazz Ensemble directed by Kathleen Hollingsworth.
"It's Santa!" rose to #1 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Christmas: Jazz Song Chart and was featured on a number of streaming playlists.
